Some Supporters of the House of Hesed

It would not be possible for the House of Hesed to continue without the support of regular donors. Many of them are people who support us regularly each month. For more information see here. There are also organizations who donate to Hesed, which we'd like to recognize.

House of Hesed is undergoing an upgrade project to our facility.
This project is funded by the Government of Canada's Homelessness Partnering Strategy. From April 1/2008 to October 31/2008 House of Hesed will renovate and upgrade our existing transitional housing facility to specifically increase safety and energy efficiency. This project includes replacing our boiler, purchase of front load washing machines and commercial fridge, building a side fence to fence in the yard completely, screening in the porch, re-pointing some of the brick work and repainting the exterior. Training about addictions will also be provided for our 10 staff members to allow in-house support to residents with these specific needs. House of Hesed would like to express a special thank you to The Winnipeg Foundation for making available the funding for our new stair lift. It’s wonderful and beautiful, and meets our needs perfectly. Along with this, we were also able to upgrade some of our office equipment, and will be fixing our air conditioner.
